The first two recipients
of the John and Lola Ross Award in the Science and Culture of
Medicine are Ann Lockhart and Mary Richards Moya, who received
the award at the UCSD School of Medicine graduation ceremony on
June 4. Each received a check in the amount of $2,000.
John Ross, Jr., M.D.,

campus and in the School of Medicine. She continues to teach on
both campuses, with courses in medical anthropology and she co-coordinates
the Introduction to Health Care Systems course for medical students.
