NOTICE TO UC SAN DIEGO FOUNDATION PRINCIPAL INVESTIGATORS AND FUND ADMINISTRATORS

As part of our commitment to streamline our operations and to provide quicker turnaround time for our users, effective January 1, 2001, UC San Diego Foundation is making the university budget allocation journal entries for money transferred from the Foundation. Budgetary allocations will be prepared weekly by Foundation Accounting staff and should be reflected in the associated Regents fund by the next business day in FinancialLink. Previously, Extramural Funds Accounting was responsible for making these allocations. For questions regarding the status of Request for Funds or allocation processing, please contact Isabel Delosantos in Foundation Accounting at extension 42964 (email: idelosantos@ucsd.edu) or me at extension 41038 (email: itracy@ucsd.edu).

Please note, you will no longer receive the summary of gift allocations for budget allocations from Extramural Funds Accounting. Rather, we encourage you to use the university's FinancialLink system, at https://www-act.ucsd.edu/cgi-bin/financiallink.pl/919460904/Node35445. You can contact your department's DSA officer to obtain access to this system and/or contact Staff Education for training if you are not familiar with this system.
