Misson Statement
The U.C. San Diego Foundation, a California nonprofit corporation, was formed in 1972. Its purpose is to encourage charitable donations to provide financial support for the University of California, San Diego's teaching, research, and public service programs, and to assist with other programs that benefit the University.
